S.A.C.K.
Several years ago, I discovered S.A.C.K. – Supporting A Community with Kindness. Founded in 2017, their mission is to provide soap sacks (with a bar of soap in each one) to homeless shelters, food pantries, veteran clinics, relief efforts and social service agencies. Since the time I discovered this wonderful organization, I’ve donated lots of soap sacks to local homeless shelters. There is never a shortage for the need of these items. As you can see, I have another load of sacks to go!
While there are lots of crochet and knit patterns available for soap savers, the one I use is by Michelle @ The Painted Hinge. Her free pattern is located here.
These little soap sacks are quick little projects that can make a world of difference!
Happy crocheting!
